Piper previously helped Las Iguanas grow from a regional operator of four restaurants into Britain’s leading Latin American chain, delivering a six-times multiple on its exit in 2007.
Turtle Bay opened its first restaurant in 2011 followed by three more across the UK, and plans to open another 20 outlets over the next three to five years.
The firm was also the founder of the Pitcher & Piano chain of bars.
