Google has bought French software business FlexyCore, the developer of the Droidbooster, an app that optimises Android’s performance eon smartphones.
The search engine has paid €16.9m for the company, said French newspaper L’Expansion.
The Rennes-based comapny was launched in 2008 and was backed by French venture capital firm Sochrastem, which invested €1.5bn in the business.
Earlier this month Google bought technology startup Flutter from Andreessen Horowitz, NEA and Y Combinator and Chinese venture capital firm WI Harper Group.
