Los Angeles based private equity firm Levine Leichtman Capital Partners has hired Brad Parish as a managing director.
Parish, who was most recently a principal at D.E. Shaw Direct Capital, brings expertise in sourcing, executing, and realising distressed debt investments and other special situation transactions. He will participate in the origination of investment opportunities, as well as due diligence, portfolio management and realization of investments within the firm’s Deep Value Funds, it said.
“Brad is a proven principal investor and will be a valuable addition to the LLCP Deep Value team,” said Arthur Levine, LLCP’s co-founder. “We are confident that his longstanding relationships and extensive distressed investing experience will bring continued success to our Deep Value strategy.”
Levine Leichtman Capital Partners manages approximately $5bn of institutional investment capital through private equity partnerships, distressed debt and leveraged loan funds. It is currently making new investments through Levine Leichtman Capital Partners IV, Levine Leichtman Capital Partners Deep Value Fund II, and Levine Leichtman Capital Partners SBIC Fund.
