Alongside the financing, Weston Quasha, director at Reinet, and NanoDimension founder Aymeric Sallin have joined Soladigm’s board of directors.
The company’s last major financing round took place towards the end of 2010 when it secured $30m in a round that saw major commitments from DBL Investors and Khosla.
The fresh capital injection brings total amount raised to $125m with DBL Investors, GE, Khosla Ventures, Navitas Capital, Sigma Partners, and The Westly Group.
“Dynamic Glass is a game-changing product that delivers on improving occupant comfort, reducing energy consumption and operating cost in buildings,” said Quasha.
“Soladigm is an excellent investment opportunity for Reinet based on the impressive results the team has achieved. The company is well positioned for the future and I look forward to helping them scale internationally.”
The technology uses electrochromic systems to allow the transition of glass from clear to tinted on demand.
