TA rehires former analysts as VPs, employs ex-Spectrum associate

Global private equity firm TA Associates has made a trio of new hires in its Boston and Menlo Park offices.

The firm’s former associates Ethan Liebermann, pictured, and Emily McGinty have rejoined as vice presidents in the healthcare and consumer group, while Jason Mironov has been employed as a vice president in the services group.

All three previously worked as analysts – Liebermann for Bank of America and McGinty and Mironov for JP Morgan.

Mironov was also employed by Spectrum Equity Investors as an associate charged with sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities.

TA chairman and Boston office head Richard Tadler said, “As associates, Ethan and Emily proved valuable contributors to TA on a number of fronts, particularly our deal sourcing and due diligence efforts.

“We welcome their return, and look forward to their involvement in further growing successful investments in the healthcare and consumer markets.”

The firm’s Menlo Park technology and services group head, Kurt Jaggers, added, “Jason has notable investment experience across a number of deal types, industry sectors and geographies.

“We are pleased to welcome him to the Menlo Park team and will leverage his experience as we continue to seek investments in profitable growth companies and create value in our existing portfolio.”

Last month TA made a $76m minority investment in Coaxis, parent company of financial and accounting software company Viewpoint Construction Software.

The company, through its Viewpoint subsidiary, provides software for mid-sized and large construction firms, including general contractors, heavy/highway and specialty subcontractors.
