Private equity fund investor Pantheon has hired Heiko Schupp as principal and head of European infrastructure investments.
Schupp will be based in London, and joined the firm from Eiser Infrastructure Limited (formerly ABN AMRO Infrastructure Capital) where he was investment director responsible for acquiring and managing infrastructure assets across Northern Europe. Prior to joining ABN AMRO in 2007, he was head of the European infrastructure team at Bank of Scotland.
Alastair Bruce, managing partner, said, “We are delighted to welcome Heiko Schupp to our infrastructure team at a time of attractive opportunities across Europe with sizeable public sector deficits driving privatisations and infrastructure corporates continuing to deleverage. With his extensive infrastructure investment experience Heiko will be a great resource to help us to tap into those opportunities for our clients.”
Pantheon has over $25bn assets under management. It recently added two senior executives to its product development and client services teams in the UK and US.
