A former JP Morgan banker and military officer has partnered with a member of the family behind luxury watch maker Rolex to launch a private equity fund focused on UK and European industrial companies.
Former JP Morgan Cazenove banker and British Army officer Robert Bassett Cross launched Eisvogel Capital earlier this year and is looking to secure commitments of £350m for its inaugural fund, the Sunday Times reported.
Bassett Cross’ partner is Christophe Jungels-Winkler, a member of the family behind Rolex, which sold its stake in the eighties, the report added.
