Corsa Ventures launches $50m VC fund

Austin, Texas-based venture capital firm Corsa Ventures has launched a $50m fund, according to a recent document filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

The filing for Corsa Fund 2012 names Alex Gruzen, who previously served as a senior vice president at hardware giant Dell, and former Raven Venture Partners’ general partner Brian Grigsby, as its founders and partners.

Current investments include mobile payment platform Tabbedout, online wine tasting service and solar photovoltaic module maker HelioVolt, according to the firm’s website.
