The venture capital arm of Asian alternative asset manager CDH Investments is reported to be fundraising for a new vehicle worth between $300m and $350m, a process that is expected to be wrapped up by the end of the year.
CDH Venture Partners’ managing partner Huang Yan told PE Daily about the new fund.
CDH Investments has assets under management exceeding $7bn, including private equity, venture capital, real estate investment and securities investment funds.
The firm currently manages two dollar-denominated funds and one renminbi fund, both of which primarily target start-up businesses, and employs more than 70 investment and other professionals operating in offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Shenzhen and Jakarta.
