Taurus Investment Holdings has sold an 8.2 million sq ft logistics portfolio to Investcorp, as the Boston-based private equity firm also exits its US Logistics Fund I.
The ‘Taurus Bullseye Portfolio’ includes 117 building across Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta and Memphis with more than 400 tenants.
The buildings range from 4,000 to 520,000 sq ft of industrial, logistics and flex warehouse space, well-connected to large densely populated regions.
Alongside the sale Taurus has also exited its US Logistics Fund I and three co-investment vehicles representing $204m of equity capital.
The firm will continue to be a co-invested manager in the portfolio in a joint venture with Investcorp.
“Logistics is one our highest conviction investment themes at present in the US and Europe, and the value created for our investors by this transaction further demonstrates our expertise in assembling a robust last mile logistics portfolio,” said Taurus CEO Peter Merrigan.
“I am proud of our acquisitions and local asset management teams for their work in assembling and stabilizing this portfolio.”
Since launching in 1976, Taurus has completed deals for more than 45 million sq ft of residential, office, industrial, retail and other commercial real estate assets globally.
