Jacob Ballas buys $20m stake in DBM Geotechnics and Constructions


Indian private equity firm Jacob Ballas has bought an INR1bn ($20m) minority stake in Mumbai-based engineering infrastructure group DBM Geotechnics and Constructions.

The company provides geotechnical construction services to civil engineering projects, including the construction of diaphragm walls, shore piling, marine structures and geotechnical investigations for infrastructure projects.

Recently Jacob Ballas also agreed to invest INR2bn ($38m) in Religare Finvest, one of India’s largest capitalised NBFCs and a subsidiary of Religare Enterprises.
