Bridgepoint, CVC, GIH eye Turkish hosiery group Penti

A handful of private equity firms including Bridgepoint, CVC and Kuwaiti asset manager Global Investment House (GIH) are looking to buy a controlling stake in Turkish hosiery business Penti.

According to Reuters, the company has hired Pragma Corporate Finance to advise on the sale. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Should Bridgepoint clinch the company, the deal will be the UK mid-market firm’s first transaction in Turkey since its 2009 investment in vehicle inspection group TüvTurk.
