Monroe Capital hires Ty Deal to head new office

US mid-market debt provider Monroe Capital has hired Ty Dealy has as a managing director to establish an office in Atlanta and lead the firm’s national ESOP (employee stock ownership plan) lending effort.

“We are very excited to add Ty to the Monroe Capital team,” said Ted Koenig, president & CEO of Monroe Capital.

“We have seen tremendous opportunity in the Southeast and want to expand our commitment to this market.

“Ty will be responsible for leading our national ESOP lending efforts in addition to originating cash flow and enterprise value-based loans in private equity sponsored and non-sponsored transactions.”

Prior to Monroe, Dealy established and led the investment banking efforts of Walker Capital, a middle market investment banking boutique that worked with regional CPA firms to provide sell-side advisory, private placement support and ESOP implementation services for mid-market companies.

Before Walker Capital he worked for SoundView Technology Group, a Stamford, based investment bank. He has also previously worked in public accounting with Price Waterhouse and Arthur Andersen.
