Failed Facebook litigants and rowing double-act the Winklevoss twins have made SumZero the first investment of their fledgling venture firm.
Cameron, pictured, and Tyler have put $1m into the investor-focused social network company after announcing the Series A close on Twitter.
The pair said through their @winklevosscap account, “Excited 2 have closed series A in @SumZero and working w/ their team 2 build an amazing company.”
SumZero was co-founded by Harvard University alumnus Divya Narendra, who sided with the twins when they unsuccessfully sued Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for $140m after claiming he stole their idea for the site.
The pair eventually settled for $65m out of court.
