Aurelius agrees deal for Deutsche Telekom’s Individual Desktop Solutions

german flag 2_sqGerman private equity firm Aurelius Group has agreed to buy Individual Desktop Solutions from Deutsche Telekom’s IT unit T-Systems International.

The company provides on-site desktop services for business customers of T-Systems across Germany, and currently has about 630 people working at 36 locations in the country.

In 2013 the unit had revenues of about €80m. No financial details were released regarding the sale.

Aurelius CEO Dirk Markus said, “The acquisition of IDS is a big step for AURELIUS in the ICT market.

“IDS will be part of our IT activity built around the Getronics Group from the outset, which will enable us to strengthen our ICT operations in the German market in particular.,

“By collaborating with T-Systems, we will benefit greatly from their technology leadership and outstanding sales structure.”

The deal is set to be completed by the middle of this year.
