Venture firm DN Capital hires principal for London office


DN Capital, a media and technology growth capital and early stage investor, has hired former DFJ Esprit partner Tom Bradley as a principal.

Bradley has been active in the UK venture capital market for nine years and most recently was a was a member of the founding team of DFJ Esprit, a UK-based venture firm.

He has been involved in investing in a variety of technology and communications businesses including, Europe’s leading provider of online DVD rentals and movie downloads. He also sourced and executed the buy-out of NetEconomy, a provider of software for financial institutions subsequently sold to Fiserv Inc.

At DN Capital, Bradley’s focus is on software and digital media opportunities, primarily targeting growth equity deals in these segments. His arrival continues the expansion of the DN Capital investment team, with Tom Batten joining DN Capital as an investment manager from Bain & Company and Eden McCallum in late 2008.

DN Capital operated from offices in London and Palo Alto and Shazam Entertainment, Endeca Technologies, Datanomic, OLX and Digital Chocolate in its portfolio.
