New York-based Leeds Equity Partners hires Stephen Fredette as operating partner


New York-based private equity firm Leeds Equity Partners has hired Stephen Fredette as an operating partner.

Fredette, former CEO of nursing education company Assessment Technology Institute, will provide management and operating expertise to Leeds Equity’s portfolio companies and will help the firm identify and evaluate new investment opportunities in the education and training sectors, the firm said.

Steve’s extensive operating experience and deep relationships will contribute immensely towards our goal of offering strategic operating assistance to our portfolio companies.”

Leeds Equity Partners focuses on investing in the education, training and information services industries. It was founded by Leeds and Robert Bernstein in 1993 and has raised and managed over $1.1bn of capital across five funds.
