Global private equity firm DIF has promoted renewable energy head Christopher Mansfield and Paris head Thomas Vieillescazes to partner.
Mansfield has been with DIF since 2008. He is responsible for overseeing all activity across Europe and North America. Before joining the firm he was at renewable energy firm Allco where he looked after the group’s European wind energy business.
Thomas Vieillescazes joined DIF in 2007 to establish its operations in France. He is responsible for the origination, execution, optimisation of PPP and renewable energy transactions in France. Before that Vieillescazes worked with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure for the French Government.
Last November DIF announced it would acquire four utility-scale solar plants, totalling 40MW of capacity, from Canadian Solar.
