Austrian technology growth firm Gamma Capital Partners has backed Swiss mobile application developer 42matters.
The firm made the investment through its Gamma III fund. This seed investment is Gamma III’s second in the mobile space within the last 12 month. In 2010 it backed Austrian Augmented Reality provider Wikitude.

This first investment will help create fundable events for an A-Round investment 2012, the firm said.
Shareholders alongside the founders and Gamma III include UCTec Beteiligungsgesellschaft and serial entrepreneur Christophe Maire.
