Private equity-backed ServiceMaster Global Holdings has filed for an IPO.
The outsourced facilities services company is owned by US-based Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, which sealed a $5.5bn buyout in March 2007.
ServiceMaster said it expects to use the proceeds primarily to repay indebtedness.
Headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, the company provides residential and commercial services, operating through a service network of more than 7,000 company-owned, franchised and licensed locations. Brands includes Terminix, American Home Shield, ServiceMaster Restore, ServiceMaster Clean, Merry Maids, Furniture Medic and AmeriSpec.
