New Indian VC house from Parampara Capital founders eyes $100m fundraise

A new Indian venture capital firm from the co-founders of Parampara Capital is out eyeing up to $100m for its debut fundraise.

Inflexor Ventures was launched by Venkat Vallabhaneni and Jatin Desai, who created fellow VC investor Parampara five years ago.

The firm’s Inflexor Technology Fund will be used to target disruptive tech across seed, Series A and higher rounds, backing businesses it believes can solve real-life problems and have domestic and international markets potential.

Key investments areas include healthtech, fintech, consumertech, cleantech, edutech and agritech, among others.

A statement from firm co-founder Desai said, “As an active participant of the early-stage VC ecosystem in India, it is our constant effort to identify companies which are at an inflection point in their journey and help them scale up to become category leaders in their respective sectors.”

Vallabhaneni added, “Over the past few years, we have seen the emergence of quality entrepreneurs and unique business models in the country.

“Such developments go a long way in adding fuel to our passion of finding the right teams and staying invested in their long-term growth plans.”
