Richard Walsh joins Court Square as head of investor relations

boardroomLee Equity partner Richard Walsh has left the firm to join Court Square, where he is in charge of all of the investor relations, fundraising and co-investment activities.

Walsh joined Court Square in July after six years with Lee Equity Partners, according to the firm’s website.

He has replaced John Kim, who resigned in January this year to join Kelso & Co, according to the Buyouts magazine.

Court Square finished fundraising for a $3bn vehicle last year, comparable to the $3.1bn it gathered for its second fund in 2007.

The firm’s recent investments include the acquisition of a majority stake in infrastructure-based broadband services provider Conterra Ultra Broadband.
