Private equity real estate firm Ten Capital Management has hired two new recruits to head its acquisitions and dispositions team.
Ed Oprindick (pictured) previously held senior positions at Hunt Investment Management.
Before that he worked at GMAC Commercial Mortgage, where he and Ten Capital’s other new hire Paul DiSandro collectively managed $4bn in direct real estate investments for large institutional clients.
Oprindick and DiSandro have also been involved in the acquisition of more than $3.3bn of commercial and multifamily properties throughout the US, including of 17,000 multifamily units and 6.8 million square feet of commercial space.
Ten Capital CEO and founder Ben Adams said, “Bringing accomplished, senior professionals on board like Ed and Paul is the next logical step in the evolution of our business.
“We have proven out our strategy and expanded our investor base significantly, and as a result of our success, we are adding to our team of experienced professionals to spearhead execution.”
Ten Capital targets deals that require short time- frames and creative capital structures, including office, multi-family, retail, industrial and hospitality.
The firm’s investors include a mix of high net worth and institutional capital.
