Private equity firm Element Partners has promoted Sam Gabbita to managing director and Charles Silio and Nitin Gupta to principals.
Gabbita, pictured, has been with the firm since 2006, and recently led its investment in Agility Fuel Systems.
Gupta, who joined Element in 2007, was involved in its investment activity in water services, energy infrastructure, industrial automation and building products.
He previously worked as an investment banking analyst at Lazard and as a technology consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Since joining Element in 2009 Silio has been focused on sector such as business services and software serving the energy, environmental, and supply chain end markets.
He was previously an associate in the private equity group of D. E. Shaw & Co, an associate with private equity firm GTCR, and an investment banking analyst at Lazard.
