Pathway Capital Management director Cheryl Maliwanag has reportedly stepped down after 16 years with the fund of funds manager.
The news was reported by PeHUB, which cited a source familiar with Maliwanag, pictured.
“We recently initiated the transition of Cheryl Maliwanag, a director of Pathway, out of Pathway Capital Management, LP and Pathway Capital Management, GP, LLC, Pathway managing director James Chambliss said in a letter Alaska Retirement Management Board’s state investment officer Zachary Hanna.
Pathway has filed a claim against the firm “regarding certain elements of her contractual departure package,” Chambliss said in the letter, according to the report.
Prior to joining Pathway in 1997, Maliwanag worked at BankAmerica Ventures.
Last year Pathway launched a new fund, which is seeking $300m. In September last year AltAssets reported that Pathway had secured $172.7m for the new vehicle.
