UK-based growth capital and infrastructure investor Oxford Capital has promoted two investment managers to investment director.
Oxford said the promotions of Oliver Hughes and Martyn Holman were in response to increased demand for its growth capital and infrastructure investment expertise.
The firm also announced that it has opened a larger London office in the City of Westminster.
Hughes will be responsible for leading infrastructure investments. He joined the firm in 2012 to build its renewable energy infrastructure investment portfolio with a focus on solar PV and wind.
Last year Oxford’s infrastructure investment portfolio trebled in size.
In his new position, Holman, who joined the firm last year from Google, will focus on making new growth investments managing a portfolio of Oxford Capital’s existing portfolio companies.
Oxford has also promoted William Orde to investment associate.
Oxford investment partner David Mott said, “We have seen exciting growth in our infrastructure and growth capital investments over the last year.
“The well-deserved promotions for Oliver, Martyn and William recognise their significant contribution to our performance and provide us with a strong platform for further growth.
“These promotions follow the recent appointments of Sachin Bhatia and Nadiya Siddique to further strengthen our institutional investment team.”
