Oxford Capital has appointed Barney Rhys Jones as an infrastructure investment director to manage the UK investment firm’s renewable energy and infrastructure asset portfolio.
Jones previously served as a managing director and COO of UK-based renewable electricity supplier Good Energy.
He has also worked as field engineer at oil and gas services company Schlumberger and an associate consultant at private equity firm Bain & Company.
Oxford’s infrastructure investment director Oliver Hughes said, “Barney brings a wealth of experience in renewable energy, combined with a strong engineering background and senior management expertise in fast growing and private equity-backed businesses.
“He will be a huge asset to our team as our infrastructure investment portfolio continues to grow.”
Last month Oxford promoted Oliver Hughes and Martyn Holman to investment directors.
