Veteran private equity firm Olympus Partners has promoted David Haddad to general partner after almost six years at the business.
Haddad was previously a principal at Cornerstone Equity Investors, where he worked on leveraged buyouts and recapitalisations, mainly focused on mid-market business services companies.
Since joining Olympus Haddad has served on the board of directors at portfolio companies including Woodcraft Industries, Pepper Dining, Fasteners for Retail and Centerplate.
Olympus closed its fifth vehicle on $1.5bn way back in 2007, and is thought to have closed a $2.5bn-targeting sixth vehicle last year.
The firm focuses on making three to four investments each year of between $20m and $300m.
