Oakley Capital Management said that Nick Hamilton will join the firm as chief operating officer of its retail asset management business.
Hamilton, pictured, is returning from Australia, where he served as head of institutional business at Colonial First State in Sydney.
He has also spent nine years as head of global equity products at Invesco Perpetual.
Oakley’s retail asset management business will be run by Neil Woodford, who is joining the firm in May this year.
Head of retail asset management at Oakley Craig Newman said, “Nick brings a wealth of experience in growing assets, building businesses and leading teams. Nick shares our vision of building a market leading asset management business of the future.”
In NOvember last year AltAssets reported that Oakley had raised more than €300m for its second fund.
