Budapest-based Csanad Daniel joined Mid Europa in 2011 and has been focused on monitoring Mid Europa’s investments in Invitel and Waberer’s.

Martin Zita, who also joined in 2011,  is based in London and has been involved in Mid Europa’s investment in Walmark.

Mid Europa managing partner Thierry Baudon said, “Both Csanad and Martin have demonstrated their strong commitment to the firm and made a significant contribution to the success of the Mid Europa franchise.

“Their promotions are well deserved and we look forward to seeing them progress further within the firm in coming years.”

Mid Europa Partners is reportedly eyeing first close for its €1bn-targeting fourth fund by the end of the year.

The vehicle has a €1.25bn hard cap according to PEI, which first reported the news.

AltAssets revealed last September that the firm had hired Credit Suisse to place Fund IV, although at that stage it had not decided on a target.
