Global professional services giant KPMG has named Conor Moore national co-leader of its venture capital practice.
Moore, who joined KPMG in 2002, had been partner-in-charge of the unit, and previously held the same role in the firm’s Northern California Technology arm.
He said, “Globalization and the integration of leading edge technologies are causing major disruptions in consumer and enterprise markets.
“We at KPMG look forward to continuing to assist venture firms and their portfolio companies as they innovate the technologies of tomorrow in a highly competitive environment and address complex financial reporting, tax and other business needs.”
The firm’s venture capital practice offers audit, tax and advisory services for venture-backed companies at each stage of development.
