IVP names Saydeah Howard vice president of talent

saydeah (2)Venture capital firm Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) has hired Saydeah Howard as vice president of talent and venture services.

Howard, pictured, will be responsible for advising the firm’s portfolio companies on human resources issues including executive search strategy, leadership, and talent development.

She previously served as vice president of human resources and organizational development at LeapFrog Enterprises.

Howard has also worked as an Associate at Russell Reynolds Associates, where she led senior executive searches for technology and media companies.

IVP general partner Steve Harrick said, “Exceptional, committed executives are the drivers behind every successful growth company and Saydeah will play a key role in helping them find the right talent and streamline their recruiting processes.

“Her human resources and recruiting experience is a great addition to our partnership and we are delighted to welcome her to our team.”

Earlier this year IVP launched a San Francisco satellite office to bring it closer to some of the most exciting startups in the US.
