Director of investor relations at Insight Equity Partners Felicia Hardwick has left the mid-market firm, which is currently raising its third fund with a $750m target.
Hardwick has decided to step down from her role to spend time with more children, said PeHUB, citing two people with knowledge of the situation and an internal email.
“After careful consideration, I have decided to stay at home with my two young boys and my last day was Friday, June 20,” according to an automated response to an email.
She joined Insight in 2004 and was one of the firm’s early employees, said one of the people.
Insight’s CEO Ted Beneski and COO Victor Vescovo will continue to interact with the firm’s LPs.
In April this year AltAssets reported that Insight had raised nearly $400m for its third fund.
The Texas-based firm makes control investment in mid-market businesses.
Since its launch in 2000 Insight has bought and managed businesses with aggregate revenues of over $4bn.
