US venture capital firm Industry Ventures has expanded its secondary investment team with the appointment of Lindsay Sharma as vice president.
Harvard graduate Sharma was previously a principal at M&A firm Intuit where she worked in corporate strategy and development.
Before that she worked on private equity and investment banking with Great Hill Partners and Bear Stearns.
Industry Ventures founder Hans Swildens said, “We are pleased to welcome Lindsay to our team, as she brings a wealth of strategy and M&A experience from private equity, banking and the corporate side.
“As we continue to execute our growth strategy, Lindsay’s proven abilities in the areas of due diligence assessment, strategic analysis and relationship management will benefit the firm.”
AltAssets reported that Industry Ventures raised a total $625m for two funds including its largest vehicle to date at the tail end of last year.
