Genstar Capital appoints ex-Surescripts CEO to strategic advisory board

totonisMid-market firm Genstar Capital has added former president and CEO of clinical information exchange network Surescripts Harry Totonis to its strategic advisory board.

Prior to taking over as Surescripts CEO in 2009, Totonis served as president and CEO of Kinexus.

He has also spent 15 years at Booz Allen & Hamilton, where he was focused on strategy consulting for large global companies at a CEO level.

Genstar is focused on the healthcare, software, financial services, and industrial technology sectors.

Earlier this year the firm named Tom Hutton and Mitch Vernick to its strategic advisory board.

Genstar chairman and managing director Jean-Pierre Conte said, “As we continue to expand our portfolio of investments we are pleased to further augment the talents of our investment professionals with seasoned executives who have held senior leadership positions at prominent companies matched to our investment focus.
