Fund of funds Parvilla hires ex PAI investor Lise Nobre

Lise Nobre ParvillaParis-based fund of funds Parvilla has brought Lise Nobre on board as a partner alongside founder Jean-Marie Fabre.

Parvilla’s equity is now split equally between the two partners.

The firm said Nobre’s arrival was a new step in the development of the firm, which held a first close for its second fund in August 2012.

That fund has already made three investments and has just signed a co-investment deal in the DACH region.

Nobre has been involved in private equity since 1986 when she started in Paribas Affaires Industrielles, which later became PAI Partners.

She operated mainly in the industrial goods sector completing investments in companies such as Mivisa and FTE, and was made head of the department in 2006.

Nobre joined French turnaround group Butler Capital as a partner in 2008.

The firm targets firms involved in lower mid-market LBOs, with fund sizes of between €100m and €350m.

It concentrates on Western Europe, with a preference for the Nordic countries, Benelux and the German-speaking countries.
