New York-based firm ff Venture Capital has made two promotions.
Adam Plotkin and Michael Faber have been promoted to partners, according to the firm’s website.
Plotkin joined ff in June last year as an entrepreneur-in-residence after working for Goldman Sachs’ Leveraged Finance Group and hedge fund Lake Baldwin Management.
Faber, pictured, who joined the firm earlier this year, will continue to serve as a senior advisor to the firm as well as CEO of NextPoint Management Company.
Between 1990 and 2008 Faber was a general partner of the NextPoint and Walnut family of investment funds, focusing on venture capital, private equity and structured investments.
IN January this year ff confirmed that it had held a final close of $52m for its third fund.
