Endless adds ex-HSBC senior director Bowser to board

bowserUK private equity firm Endless has hired former HSBC senior executive director Wayne Bowser as a non-executive director.

Endless, which is currently deploying its £220m third fund, said Bowser will help develop its strategy and offering to the UK market and advise the management team on the firm’s growth strategy.

Bowser, pictured, previously served as a senior executive director at HSBC, where he was responsible for the funding and support of international acquisitive growth, leading turnaround situations and strategic planning.

Endless managing partner Garry Wilson said, “The recruitment of Wayne marks a major development for Endless. We have known Wayne for almost 20 years and witnessed the growth he was able to achieve at HSBC.

“His energy, contact base and ability to nurture talent will be very valuable to us at a time when we are growing quickly and are on the verge of several new business developments.”

In March Endless made a six times return by selling its stake in UK-based Acenta Steel to the company’s management.

Earlier in 2013 the firm bolstered its London team with the addition of Francesco Santinon, who joined from Growth Capital Partners (GCP).
