Seed and early-stage investor Claremont Creek Ventures has medical device and IT strategic marketing specialist Harveen Sethi as an associate.
She was previously a senior manager at Medtronic bringing new cardiac therapies to market.
Sethi previously worked on enterprise technology and analytics projects at Accenture.
CCV Director Ted Driscoll said, “Harveen is passionate about impactful disruptive innovation, especially in shaping the next frontier of healthcare.
“She is particularly enthusiastic about the potential of big data analytics and technology in advancing predictive diagnostics and personalized medicine.
“These are sweet spots for CCV. We are excited to add her to our team.”
Claremont Creek is reportedly looking to match the $175m it raised for its second vehicle as it targets a new fundraise later this year.
The California-based firm is planning to build on successes such as the exit of portfolio company ecoATM by raising the new vehicle according to VentureWire, which spoke to managing director Randy Hawks.
