Centerview adds ex-AT&T CEO and ex-Skype VP to help raise $500m fund

sandhyaPrivate equity investor and advisory business Centerview Partners has brought former AT&T CEO Dave Dorman and ex-Skype vice president Sandhya Venkatachalam to help raise its new $500m fund.

Dorman and Venkatachalam were included in a regulatory filing as executive officers of the Centerview Capital Technology Fund, Fortune reported.

The filing shows that the fund, which has no minimum investment requirement, has yet to register its first commitment.

Centerview’s private equity arm Centerview Capital, which currently has $500m of commited capital, invests $50m to $150m in businesses with an EBITDA of over $20m.

The firm has made minority and majority investments in companies with EBITDA between $25m to $1.4bn.

It is focused on the food & beverage, household and consumer products, personal care, health and wellness, and consumer services sectors.
