Cathrin Petty leaves Vitruvian for healthcare investment banking at JPMorgan Chase


Financial services group JPMorgan Chase & Co. has appointed Cathrin Petty as co-head of its healthcare investment banking team focused on Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Bloomberg has reported.

Petty was formerly at UK private equity firm Vitruvian Partners and was previously a partner at fellow buyout firm Apax Partners, where she focused on healthcare.

Petty will work alongside the team’s current head, Rakesh Patel, the report said.

In a memo, Vis Raghavan, head of EMEA banking at JPMorgan Chase & Co, said, “Our EMEA investment banking healthcare team has become increasingly active over the last year with a number of major transactions.”

In Decvember of last year Vitruvian Partners closed its second fund on its £1bn hard cap.
