Tomas, pictured, will help develop strategies to improve the state’s business environment while supporting its economy during his four-year term with Workforce Florida.
He has spent nearly 25 years working on technologies in the US and Mexico in leadership roles, with considerable experience in the biotechnology, life sciences and IT and Communications sectors.
Tomas is also CEO of Bioheart, which develops cell therapies and biologics which aim to help address heart failure and other cardial problems.
