The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) has hired former Caspian Private Equity partner Andrew Kripke as a portfolio manager in its US fund investment business.
Kripke, who started his new job on April 22, is focused on sourcing, due diligence on and monitoring of private equity funds, said PeHUB.
Prior to joining the sovereign wealth fund, Kripke spent five years at Caspian as a partner and investment director.
Last year private equity head of ADIA James Kester stepped down after three years at the fund.
Kester was named CIO in November 2010, taking over from Georges Sudarskis, who left to form his own firm, Sudarskis & Partners.
The $600bn sovereign wealth fund invests directly in private equity funds, as well as via secondaries and co-investments.
