Spain’s Diana Capital raises €100m for Fund II


Spanish mid-market private equity firm Diana Capital is nearing a final closing on its latest vehicle, by Diana Capital Fund II, PEI has reported.

The fund, which had an initial €150m target, is expected to close on just over €100m, it said.

Diana recently acquired a 40 per cent stake in children’s clothing company Gocco, the first investment from Fund II.

Diana Capital was founded in 2000 by Francisco Gómez-Zubeldia, formerly deputy general manager of Capital Markets at BBV.
