A new private equity firm founded by a trio of former Oak Investment partners has held a $500m final close for its latest fund.
The Oak HC/FT Fund, which is led by Ann Lamont, Andrew Adams and Patricia Kemp, will be used to target healthcare and financial technology investments.
Lamont said, “Global technology innovations, cost pressures and regulatory changes are creating unprecedented opportunities in the healthcare and fintech sectors.
“We are excited to further this transformational growth and build on our significant investment legacy.”
Oak HC/FT said it closed the fund in June.
Adams said, “Our team has more than a decade of experience working with leading entrepreneurs and growth companies in the healthcare and fintech space.
“This new fund will enable us to capitalize on continued demand for technology-enabled solutions, data and analytics and alternative delivery models in both sectors.”
