Spanish venture capital firm Nauta Capital has reportedly launched its fourth fund.
Nauta is seeking $150m for the fund, which would make is the same size as the firm’s previous vehicle raised in 2011, said Dow Jones, citing a person close to the matter.
The firm is in talks with LPs based outside of Europe for the first time, said the person.
Nauta targets early-stage technology companies in the wireless and mobility, enterprise software and security, and ecommerce segments.
It currently has €170m under management across its existing three funds.
The firm is focused on Series A rounds, investing between €0.5m and €5m per company.
Last year Nauta led a $2m Series A investment in Spanish mobile reading technology company Marfeel.
