Pomona Capital principal Greg Walters is reportedly leaving the firm after more than five years as part of its secondaries investment analysis and deal-sourcing team.
PEI first reported the news, which seems to have been confirmed by Pomona removing Walters’ profile from the team section of its website.
The news comes just weeks after Pomona held a $1.75bn hard cap final close for its latest vehicle.
Walters has 12 years of experience in private equity, and was previously a managing director at VCFA Group working on both direct and secondaries deals.
He also worked for GMG Capital Partners and First Global Ventures following a career practicing corporate law, primarily involving private equity funds and their portfolio companies.
