DN Capital hits €80m for Fund III thanks to Finnish Industry Investment commitment


Government-owned Finnish Industry Investment has made a €3m commitment to UK VC firm DN Capital’s Global Venture Capital III.

The fund currently has garnered close to €80m and DN Capital manages three funds with a total of €170m in assets under management.

DN Capital focuses on companies in seed, early and growth stages in digital media, e-commerce, software and mobile applications. Its geographic focus covers Europe and the US, investing between €250.000 and €10m.

DN Capital has currently over 30 companies in its portfolio, including Shazam, Windeln.de and more recently Avagent.

With €895m in assets under management, Finnish Industry Investment is currently an investor, directly and through funds, in 510 companies.
