Environmental-focused private equity firm Ambienta has reportedly held another interim close for its latest fund.
The Milan-headquartered firm has raised €250m for the fund, said Private Equity International.
In January this year the Ambienta II fund hit a €200.2m second close, a few months after holding a €147.2m first close.
Ambienta said that LPs that had backed the vehicle included Italian and Nordic pension funds, the firm said.
International investors based in Europe and North America accounted for around 40 per cent of total commitments.
Ambienta’s first fund raised €217.5m in 2009 and has investment between €10m and €30m per deal.
