Asset management major Adams Street Partners has closed Adams Street 2021 Global Fund program with $832m in committed capital.

Adams Street’s global program was first offered in 1996 and provides investors exposure to private markets portfolio including primaries, secondaries, co-investments, growth equity and private credit, the firm said.

Jeff Diehl, managing partner and head of investments at Adams Street, said, “Investors worldwide are increasingly attracted to private market investment solutions that are data-driven and have the ability to produce attractive risk-adjusted returns.

“We are grateful for the confidence our investors have placed in us and the Adams Street Global Fund to help meet their return objectives while seeking to successfully navigate risks.”

Adams Street Partners has brought in former Barings managing director Jennifer Brown as partner and global co-head of consultant relations in July.

Adams Street has about $45bn in assets under management.

The firm has reportedly pulled in almost $1.1bn for an interim close of its new private credit fundraise last year.
